Indexing Policy

Primary Care Science and Practice (PCSP) is committed to enhancing the visibility, discoverability, and impact of the research we publish. To ensure global reach, we implement a phased indexing strategy:

1. Immediate Indexing & Metadata Distribution All articles published in PCSP are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) by Crossref and are immediately indexed in:

  • Google Scholar
  • Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital)
  • Crossref Search
  • Dimensions (Planned)

2. Regional and International Recognition (Short-term Roadmap) As the journal reaches the required publication history, we are actively preparing for submission and indexing in:

  • DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals): Following the publication of our second issue.
  • SINTA (Science and Technology Index): After completing at least two years of publication.
  • ACI (ASEAN Citation Index)

3. Major Global Databases (Long-term Goal) PCSP is built upon the technical and ethical standards required by major global discovery services. Our long-term roadmap includes evaluation for indexing in:

  • Scopus
  • Web of Science (Emerging Sources Citation Index - ESCI)
  • EBSCO & ProQuest
  • PubMed Central (PMC)

Metadata Harvesting: PCSP supports the OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting), allowing our metadata to be harvested by library systems and search engines worldwide, ensuring maximum readability and citation potential.
