Article Processing Charge

Primary Care Science and Practice (PCSP) is a gold open-access journal. To support this model, the journal requires an Article Processing Charge (APC) to be paid by the author, funder, or institution upon acceptance of the manuscript.

Regular APC

IDR 500,000

Fast-Track Review

The APC covers: editorial management and peer-review coordination; professional copyediting and typesetting; online hosting and permanent DOI issuance via Crossref; and archiving in international indexes and article promotion.

Fast-Track Review Option

Authors requiring an accelerated decision may choose the Fast-Track Review. PCSP aims to provide the initial editorial decision within 1–2 weeks for this track.

Crucial Note: Choosing Fast-Track does not guarantee acceptance. All manuscripts must pass the same rigorous scientific standards through our double-blind peer-review process.

Additional Language Services (Optional)

APC fees do not include professional translation or proofreading. PCSP offers separate, paid services for: Indonesian-to-English translation and deep English proofreading.

For rates and procedures, contact: pcsp@linkglobal.co.id. The use of these services does not influence the final editorial decision.

Waiver Policy

To ensure inclusivity, PCSP offers full or partial APC waivers for authors from Low-Income Countries or those with demonstrated financial hardship. Waiver requests must be made at the time of submission.

  • Automatic Waivers: Authors from countries classified by the World Bank as Low-Income Economies are eligible for a 100% waiver of the APC.
  • Discretionary Waivers: Authors from Lower-Middle-Income countries or those with institutional financial hardships may apply for a partial waiver (up to 50%).
  • Application Process: Waiver requests must be submitted during the initial submission process through the "Comments to the Editor" section or via email. Requests for waivers after the manuscript has entered the review process will not be considered.
  • Independence: The waiver application process is handled separately from the editorial review process, ensuring that the ability to pay does not influence the editorial decision.

Payment Timing

Payment is required only after the manuscript has been officially Accepted for publication and before the final typesetting process.
